Southern California SharePoint User Group October 2008 Meeting

MOSS Deployments on Multi-Server Farms The October 15th meeting will feature discussions on the subject of SharePoint Server 2007 multi-server farm deployments. 

Featured Speaker: Rod Lawrence, Business Systems Analyst, County of San Bernardino.  
Rod will discuss deployment of a server farm consisting of multiple servers dedicated to running the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 application.  Topics covered include deciding when to use a farm, farm configuration, and farm topologies.

Featured Speaker: Matthew Pyle, Senior Systems Engineer, InterKnowlogy
Successful MOSS administrators often maintain multiple farm deployments, consisting of environments that are used for development, staging and production.  Matthew will discuss techniques for keeping the content and structure of these environments in synch.
